Foot movements reveal the most about an admirer’s true feelings than other cues, such as laughter or eye contact. No one thinks about their feet, so they become great unconscious indicators about what’s going on behind a person’s composure.
For example, if a woman moves her feet away from her body while giggling, to adopt a more open-legged stance while laughing, then she is attracted to you. But if her legs are crossed or tucked under her body, then the suitor’s advances are likely to end in disaster, according to an article in The Telegraph.
Sadly, foot movements in men don’t indicate attractiveness to the nearby female. But men’s foot movements can show if he’s lying or not. Women can tell a liar by spotting a man who keeps his feet unnaturally still, according to Professor Geoff Beattie, one of Britain’s leading psychologists.
Men increase their feet movements when they’re nervous. Women do the opposite, and keep their feet still. Dominant people of both sexes have little foot or body movement as they like to remain in control.
But don’t waste time trying to use feet as foreplay. A study of 800 people found that feet and toes ranked near the bottom of so-called erogenous zones. Only shins, elbows and noses ranked lower.
That said, I’m still totally open to a foot massage after a long day of work.
